Obituary for Gerald E. Wall Sr.

Gerald Ernest Wall, Sr., 82, of Matoaca, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at his residence. He was the son of the late Ernest and Blanche Butler Wall. Mr. Wall retired after 22 years as a brick mason from the Defense Supply Center Richmond (Bellwood). Mr. Wall is survived by his loving wife of over 60 years, Shelva Smith Wall; a daughter, Sharon W. Turner; and a son, Michael W. Wall; all of Matoaca; two grandchildren, Sonnet Nicole Williams and Charles Michael Turner; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. with a graveside service following at 11:00 a.m. in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, VA.
