Ellen D. Williams 72, of Burkeville, and a native of Richmond, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at her residence. She was born January 26, 1945 to the late Milton and Lillian Evans Dodson. Ellen is survived by her husband, Richard Williams; two sons, Timothy Beck and wife, Jennifer of Kenbridge, Virginia, Matthew Beck and wife, Lori of Germany; two step-sons, Dean Williams of Powhatan, Wesley Williams of Austin Texas; and eleven grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, 2017 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 with the Reverend Jim Price officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park Chester, Virginia. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 6, 2017 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
