Obituary for Adeline Lange Wood

Adeline Lange Wood, 78, passed from this world on Monday, September 18, 2017 at her home in Prince George, Virginia. She was predeceased by her parents, Fred Lange and Agnes Basl Golom Lange of Chesterfield; her husband, Eugene Wood of Prince George; and her sister, Marie Golom Lee of Titusville, Florida. Adeline was employed for almost 60 years by Dr. Milton Ende and his sons, Drs. Fred and Mark Ende in Petersburg. She very much loved her family, friends and beloved pets and she was very much loved in return and will be greatly missed. Our hummingbird has departed. She is survived by her brother-in-law of 66 years, Floyd M. Lee of Titusville, Florida; sister-in-law, Mrs. Dorothy Layman of Roanoke, Virginia; nieces, Kerry Lee Owens, Titusville, Florida, Karen Lee of Okeechobee, Florida; great nieces, Sara Owens of Canton, Georgia, Lynn Owens of Titusville, Florida; and longtime friends, Jimmy and Lori Hanzlik of Sussex, Virginia. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 23, 2017 in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg, Virginia. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.
