Obituary for Edwin V. "Ed" Sutton

Edwin V. (Ed) Sutton, of Colonial Heights, formerly of Denton, Maryland, passed away on September 21, 2017. Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Betty and Irvin Wagner and Norman Sutton Sr., and a brother, Tom Sutton. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 41 years, Patricia. Also, he leaves his daughter SanDee Moore (Mark), his son DusDee Robertson, his 3 grandchildren Kayleigh, Seth, and Sydney Moore, a step brother Tom Wagner (Shirley), a sister Betty June Whitley (Doug), a brother Norman Sutton (Diane), his mother in law Joyce Holzner, a sister in law Sue Holzner, and a longtime friend and neighbor Don Ricker. He was a member of Phi Theta Pi fraternity. His family wants to thank his fraternity brothers for all of their support during his battle with cancer. The family would like to express their gratitude to the Colonial Heights E.M.S. for all of their help during this trying time. The family will hold a private memorial at a later date to celebrate the life of Ed. Donations may be made in honor of Edwin Sutton to the Colonial Heights Fire and EMS, P.O. Box 3401 Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 or the Colonial Heights\Petersburg S.P.C.A, P.O. Box 1174 Petersburg, Virginia 23804.
