Condolence From: Tina Daniels
Condolence: Mr. Overby was definitely a man of INTEGRITY. I did not know him long, but it was obvious that his WORD was BOND. If he said something, he meant it. He exuded an aura of selflessness, and generosity. We should all strive to exhibit these same positive qualities in our own lives. That would be the best way to keep his legacy and memory alive for years to come. He was definitely a good example of showing it's not the material possessions we acquire in this lifetime that we will be remembered for, but instead the content of our character and what we do to help those we care about and love. He will be remembered as a man who kept the promises he made, and that is one of the greatest qualities in life to possess. He was an honorable man.

Condolence: He was my State Farm Agent, but most importantly, he was a friend. I had the honor of knowing him when I lived in Virginia from 1992-2002. He was an extremely caring and good man. He will be missed.

Condolence: Herman will be missed. He helped me so much with my business over the years. Herman was a joy to work with whether manning the kettles for Salvation Army, helping raise funding for Juvenile Diabetes research or one of the other numerous public service activities we worked on together. One of the most kind and loyal people that I have ever met. Prayers for his family.

Condolence: Dear family, you have my heartfelt condolences. May God the Father of tender mercies (Psalm 83:18) strengthen you all during this difficult time and may your cherished memories comfort you as you await His loving provision when you may be reunited with your dear loved one again (John 5:28,29).

Condolence: When we loose a loved one or friend like Herman, words can't explain the magnitude of pain associated with such a loss. Thanks to Rusty, I've had the privilege of knowing Herman for 30 years. Seems like it was just yesterday when Rusty and I passed out flyers for Herman for the opening of his State Farm office at Edgehill. Time does fly, but along with time comes the many memories that our loved ones leave us with once they are gone. I myself am very thankful for the memories. Although my heart is heavy, it has been a real privelage knowing Herman! The loss of such a Great Man will take some time to get over but I can find peace in knowing that one day I will see you again My Friend!

Condolence: I am so sorry for your loss. Herman was one of the most selfless people I have ever known. He would have done anything for anyone - humbling himself. I could not have asked for a better friend. I can just see him now in the gym with me, always making me laugh. Heaven sure did gain an angel. I cannot express in words how much you will be missed boss.

"You have sorrow now, but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you"
John 16:22
